One month in and I’m now at ~8600 words.
This is 34 pages.
This is one third the way to my Comic Con deadline.
This is taking way too long.
I want to get the first draft finished by June, so I’m gonna have to write twice as fast.
I really like what happened to today’s last scene; two characters wrote themselves a few of their own complications.

I’ve written a thousand words a day for the last two days, which should be my goal.
As you all know this Sunday Christians will be celebrating Easter. The holiday commemorates the day that Jesus transformed into a giant rabbit and laid a thousand colorful eggs to pay off his gambling debts.
OK, I’m kidding. There never was a Jesus. But the Easter Bunny is real.
Jury duty involved sitting in the Jury Lounge all day before being set free.

Point of weirdness: I brought the latest Ex Machina
trade with me. In this story the main character is on jury duty.
I’m being called in for jury duty tomorrow.
I’m pretty sure I won’t get picked because I’m an engineer and they usually like right-brained people.
Of course I also hate all races and creeds so I got that in my favor.
