The second draft of the first four chapters of
Pickin’ Up The Ghost came in at 15,895 words.

I’ve got a thousand dollar set aside.
I’ve got the vacation time set aside.
I’m halfway through the second draft.
And I’ve upped the exercise schedule. No more flaking out on Fridays (lower body days at the gym). I’m going to need that extra leg strength to carry more comics. It’ll help if I could lose a few more pounds too.
That’s right, I’m training for Comic Con.
Comics Jam War is an offshoot of the 24 Hour Comic. Instead of one guy working for 24 hours the Jam War allows teams and gives you twelve hours to create eight pages.
I’ve done both and this is a better promotional device for the hosting stores and less of a death march for those of us participating.
We finished with a half hour to spare, which leaves us with no excuses for taking two months to post these pages.

Of course the Book of Revelation was probably written before the common calendar was quite so common so the point is moot.

I’ll let it rest for two weeks before drafting gain. I was so eager to put it out of my mind that I forgot to post.
Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention that I got accepted by UCLA, but I’m not going. At least not yet. I wanna have a few thousand in savings to burn before grad school rather than rack up a few thousand on the credit cards.
