Plug: The Remnants
While watching The Show with ZeFrank long ago it occured to me that Ze was a natural actor and someone should do something with him.

But I won’t be growing a pony tail.
Due to the declining quality of PC laptops I finally broke down and got a Mac. It’s a different world, I know that there’s Unix down there somewhere but it’s buried under a thick layer of GUI. The multi-touch trackpad is kinda neat, but I still prefer the mouse. I really appreciate that the Macbook comes with iMovie and Garage Band, software that’s actually really cool and not a bunch of crippled third party software that I never wanted and every dial-up Internet provider still in business.
Installing software is strange. OS X asks if you want the program to go into the Applications folder by holding up a picture of the program’s icon with an arrow pointing at the folder. I’m supposed to grab the icon and drag it to the folder. It’s like a really simple flash game.
Well I can always put an XP partition on it with Boot Camp if I get tired of lattes and clove cigarettes.

The Guild of Literary Intent
Picking Up the Ghost was subjected to its second workshop on Saturday and I’m happy to say that it came out stronger than it did last year. Happy because I really didn’t want to spend another year rewriting the thing.
Most of the suggestions this time around should be easy to implement and I’ll hopefully have the next (and final?) draft done in a few months.
No more limits!
Free from the constraints of LiveJournal I finally have the primary avatar that I deserve.

A new year and a new blog
It’s time that LiveJournal and I went our separate ways. Sure we had some laughs, the outages, the ads, the russian mob. But I’m getting close to a point where real publishers and agents might be looking at my site. My whole site needed an update and part of that involves hosting my own blog.
