I’ll be heading on up the the LA Times Festival of Books tomorrow, mostly trying to get the Picking Up the Ghost tip sheet in the hands of book buyers.
I’m in a funny space right now, the book is happening, not happened. I don’t have anything physical to prove that it exists, just the promise that it will.
I’m thinking about this too much.
See, this is why I’m not a salesman.

  1. How did the Promotions Tour go for Picking Up the Ghost? You do alright at self promotion, no worries, but I added you to my Blog…a permanent link and pic of your book cover on the left side of my Blog page. I figure, I’ve got a lot of space, being new at it, so why not promote other Authors and Writers? Well, let me know when I can get it in paperback and I will purchase right away! Cheers! Kate R.

  2. Thanks, Candice.
Tour is too strong a word. That was an information gathering trip.
Currently I’m building a list of review blogs and podcasts that want an advanced reader copy and Southern California bookstores that stock speculative fiction for a short tour.

  3. So what you’re saying is that you aren’t busy at all. Lol! 馃榾 Watching you navigate the publishing world is quite the sideline experience, Tone. It’s great that you are posting about it because other aspiring Authors can see the hours of work that goes into it, even after your novel has been selected for publication. It’s not a sit back and ride experience!
